imagine like when in AD3000, some super internet(wonder if it’ll still be called that?) geek decided to “dig” for ancient online stuff and he found this flashy purple thing – my humble blog!
he notice the nuffnang logo (okay let’s pretend Nuffnang by then, is a very huge international company) and he goes further into research and he managed to access into my account!
(okay let’s pretend AGAIN! i’d became very famous BUT totally forget to cash out any of my earnings) and by that time my earnings already rolled into BILLIONS!
over the weekend, i was invited to attend the exclusive Philips Bloggers’ Breakfast Event.. and of course thanks to Sabrina for the invite!
i guess the only thing i can complain about, is it being held at 10am in the morning.. and the fact that i was at Zouk the night before and got home at only 5am! (i’ll blog about the happenings @ zouk in the next entry)

so anyway, i think i managed to reach among the earliest and got my $200 seat..
why $200 seats? well, not literally, but because it’s the best area to experience the full potential of Philip’s new Ambilight & Ambisound system! it’s the next generation of gaming and movie entertainment experiences..
but i felt the system was powerful enough to extend the “$200 experience” to the entire room!
abit more on the system:
Ambilight see the sides of the lcd tv being illuminated? well, it changes colour according to the video content! it’s being said that the effect, creates a larger virtual screen and a more immersive viewing experience.. also, it reduces viewer eye strain..
Ambisound you guys should be familiar with home-surround-systems whereby there’ll normally be 5 speakers being placed around the room and also one subwoofer..
but with Ambisound system, everything is being simulated by the thin and sleek speaker (and a subwoofer) in the front! this means, no more messy cables and wires around your living room! and trust me, the simulated effect of the 5.1 channels is exactly (or even better) than the literal kind of 5.1 sound systems..

The other day i was heading home when i saw this at McDonald’s dessert kiosk..
i was like, “wah! LOOKS nice!” (note i emphasized on LOOK)
so i ordered “Berries&Cookies”..
GUESS WHAT? . . . . . . IT IS JUST THE NORMAL MCFLURRY + STRAWBERRY SAUCE from the strawberry sundae!
the so-called “berries” is exactly the same taste as the strawberry sundae! i feel so cheated! ROAR!!!!
and technically, it’s only one type of BERRY, not BERRIES!
i’m guessing the “mudpie” must be the same old hot fudge + oreo mcflurry..
maybe i’m just too picky and making a huge fuss out of nothing, BUT don’t you agree it’s VERY MISLEADING?
PICTURE DO UNTIL SO NICE LOR, NAME CAN CALL UNTIL LIKE SO YUMMY, AND??? …it turned out to be just a mere mix-and-match with the current menu..
AND i think the ad should actually be like that:
i also think “Berries&Cookies” should taste alot nicer like with bursting flavors of blueberry, cranberry, cherry & blackcurrant! and obviously “Mudpie” should taste more than just hot fudge with oreo mcflurry!
smart, but not smart.
10/10 for advertising. 0/10 for credibility.
p/s: the taste is o-k-a-y, i just feel cheated by the ad..
