Yay~ (the sian kind of “yay”)
‘Cos yours truly turned 20 yesterday.
I seriously didn’t expect any form of celebration on this year’s birthday… BECAUSE I AM LOSING MY TEEN-HOOD LAH!
Now people will look at me with that extra sense of seriousness and I’ll be expected to be shrewd in whatever things I do! And if in the case of me doing something wrong, other people will say things like, “eh, he 20 already still cannot think ah?” AHHHHH!
…okay maybe I’m thinking waaaay too much, but hor, a decade more and I’ll officially be an UNCLE! HORRORS!
Alright alright, I shall stop digressing about my fears of being old…
So, a few days ago we had this small reunion-cum-birthday dinner with the usual gang, I THOUGHT! Turn out, my close friends were there too! Kudos to Fabian who planned everything and gathered everyone! Though Gigi and Vithi weren’t there, but you know I love you two the most! 
We were this chinese restaurant at tanjong pagar, and the food was great!
After dinner we headed to TopOne ktv in bugis..
AND SO I THOUGHT that having my close friends around was the surprise, little did I know I had a birthday cake too!
(SEE, OLD LIAO!!! ONLY TWO BIG CANDLES! Last time I had ONE BIG ONE and MANY MANY SMALL ONES LOR!)
Don’t ask me why the cake is heart-shaped, it’s kinda inauspicious to cut a heart-shaped cake isn’t it? Haha!
My wish was that I turn 19 again! (YEAH RIGHT)

Like I mentioned earlier, I didn’t expect any celebration, so I didn’t expect much on presents either, BUT I SIMPLY LURVE THE PRESENTS I GOT THIS YEAR!

You wouldn’t know how excited I am upon getting this! I SUPER LURVE lighting bolts and according to Jo, this particular pendant is limited ed; only peeps who went to the recent French Connection event will have!
FRED PERRY! SWEET! I’m not exaggerating, but ANYTHING fred perry will make me happy like mad! That time I went to cine’s new fred perry outlet, I was literally smiling to myself when I browse around the store! I think the sales person must be thinking that I’m mad.
One thing weird about the brand is, their bag and shoes prices compared to their apparels, is like dirt cheap! Okay lah, maybe not DIRT CHEAP, but $150 for a polo tee and $150 for a bag(and it’s those big ones like mine), WHICH ONE WILL YOU CHOOSE?
OF COS THE BAG RIGHT?!

ANYWAY, I just wanna say that I felt this year’s compared to last year’s birthday, though it’s like way smaller in every sense, it actually meant alot more to me! Having the world wide world singing happy birthday to you, is NOTHING compared to the close friends around you, with their best wishes…
I came to realise that the superficial facade in those “call-the-whole-world-to-your-party” birthday celebration is somewhat meaningless. Are the people there because they REALLY wanna wish you a happy, happy birthday? or, they’re here ‘cos it’s YET ANOTHER birthday?
Okay, I gotta stop writing now ‘cos that’s the uncle in me talking already. NOOOOOOO!!! I DON’T WANNA BE OLD!!!!!!!!!
