I was at the LV private event yesterday and it was my first time attending this kind of atas event, pretty cool!

I brought my 400D along, but wasn’t sure if photography was allowed so I smuggled some shots with the lousy camera on my phone. Ha!

The displays were very arty farty! There were like lots of LV painted canvas and the new collections had painty grunge looks.

They even had paint splatters on the floor, to which I wonder how they will remove after the season.

These some some of the Summer collection:

Monogram Watercolor

Monogram Pulp

and Monogram Jokes

Though I can’t really appreciate how distinctly the words are printed across the bag, rendering it to look a wee bit like a bad imitation, IMHO.

Some other pics:

The canvas are actually mounted with monogram fabric, it’ll be so cool to have one!

See this bag that the staff was holding?

Made of alligator skin and only 2 pieces in asia, it cost a whooping 74 THOUSAND. S$74,000! I can buy a car with that!

Anyway there were champagne and delish delicacies during the event!

And I fell in love with this pair of silver sneakers, which obviously is too atas for me! :\

That guy in red, I think he should be around my age, BUT he’s wearing a Corum watch, LV sneakers, Prada phone, Gucci hp lanyard, and god knows what’s the brands of his apparels! DAMN! I bet he wears Topshop to sleep! RICH KIDS! ANNOYING! (…okay, maybe I’m being annoying myself. heh)

Anyway, saw Yeo Yanyan from 881…

Yah, only the back view ‘cos it’ll be damn loserish if I’m all star-crazed and ask to take photo with her, in front of so many atas people. Haha!

Camwhored!

Thanks Jaymie for bringing me along! :D

Kudos to Nadia’s sexy narration, Fabian’s patience while filming us, Happyslip’s videos that inspired us, and my trusty iMovie & After Effects!

So this is Nad’s and my part of the birthday wishes for Nuffnang! Well, it’s not really a birthday “wish” per se, but we’d decided to make it a lil more creative. And so, this is how the trailer would look like if Nuffnang had a movie!

Oh wait, I’ve actually gotten some footage from the pajama party as well, so maybe this “trailer” works too, by enticing you guys for the upcoming video!

So anyway, actors we are not! Check out the amount of NGs we had for that one particular scene:

Ha!

Last thursday, I was invited to attend the LG KS20 media event over at Corduroy Cafe! (remember the last time I was there?)

All thanks to our lovely Princessa for the invite!

It’s organised by Fleishman-Hillard, which yet again, they did an awesome job!

The crowd this time around was much bigger, with not only bloggers, and forumers from PPCSG were also invited.

At first, I thought KS20 is the LG Prada phone! But…

Excerpt from DK:
The KS20 is a cool looking smart phone. It looks like the LG Prada phone in many ways. But unlike the Prada phone, the KS20 is a smart phone which runs Windows Mobile 6.0. The KS20 has a 2.8″ 65K color touchscreen TFT display. It’s HSDPA (which is great if you have a mobile broadband SIM card) and also has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.0. And FM radio too.

The beautiful models demoed the phone, and also let us have hands-on experience – with the phone, I meant. Hehe

Though I don’t really fancy Windows Mobile, KS20 looks really chic like its predecessor and it’s definitely something I’ll go for, in terms of its appearance, and along with its wireless functions.

After which, we also had a scrumptious dinner buffet!

And then came the lucky draw! Which I’m the most unlucky when it comes to this instant lucky draw kind-of-thing.

Estee was the lady luck that night and she won the KF600, which is not even launched in Singapore yet!

AND of cos, with bloggers around, camwhoring is a must!

with Sabrina aka Princessa

with Esther aka Ice Angel

with Peggy aka Thy Dowager

with Nadia aka Nadnut

with Qiaoyun aka Sheylara

Everyone has a nickname! DAMN I NEED ONE TOO! And I realised my smile is the same throughout! Bleah!

Anyway, I actually took more pictures with other bloggers like Claudia and Rina but they either turned out blurry or my face looks crappy. So, yeah.

Once again, THANKS LG, Sab and Fleishman!

FUCK.

Okay, before I explode, I shall elaborate the entire incident. Here’s how it went:

Yesterday around quarter to six, I received a phone call from a guy claiming that he’s from Apple.

Apple Guy: Hi, is this Jayden?

Me: Yeah… You are?

AG: I’m calling from Apple. You have a friend __________ right?
(He told me the full name of the person)

Me: Uh huh

AG: He entered you for this lucky draw and you’ve won $300 worth of Apple vouchers…

Me: WOW OKAY

AG: …and also an iPod nano

AG: So can I have your particulars?

At this point of time, it didn’t occur to me if this guy could be bogus, since he had the full name of my friend, who actually is the boss of the place that I part-time in.

So I naively gave my full name, my IC number and MY ADDRESS to him.

After confirming the details, he ended with “Okay, so the prizes will be mailed to you within 3 days.”

I must admit that even though he speaks as though he’s short of breathe, he sounded very real. So much so that I’m still wondering about this whole incident’s legitimacy.

But after I garnered the few points, I started to smell something fishy over here.

1. My boss and I don’t even have each other’s mobile number! Since he’s always flying overseas, the only way we communicate (when necessary) is, via the Retail Manager. So how in the world did he manage to fill in my name with my mobile number in whatever lucky draw there is?

2. So I asked retail manger to check with him. Did he put me into any Apple contest or lucky draw? Guess what?! NO, he didn’t!

3. Called the number back. 64452502. It’s a bloody fax machine line and no one’s picking up.

5. Checked yellowpages.com.sg, 64452502 isn’t a registered company line. And mind you, I checked Apple’s hotlines up as well, they’ve got every line including their fax numbers registered.

4. Called Apple to check if I really won something. Unfortunately the lines are for AppleOnline and they have no clue to the promotions and stuff over at the retail stores. I wanted to call iShop and wheelock’s Apple. But I don’t wanna repeat that whole phone conversation for so many bloody times. And I figured that if there’s really such a good lucky draw, I would have heard about it, if not took part in it, long ago.

Though there weren’t a definite answer from Apple, from the phone conversation I can vividly make out who is the one behind all this.

I don’t wanna make any false assumptions, so I’m giving a chance to whoever the person that called, to prove what he said was true. So I’ll be expecting my $300 vouchers and iPod nano really soon. If not, I’m lodging a police report.

P/S: And I know you are reading this. So, please lah, grow up. If you wanna bring down any person/company, do it in a upright and legit way. It’s very pathetic to see your scheming methods so childish and unprofessional.
