I must write this down before I forget. This has got to be one of the awesomest dreams I’ve had. Well, if you don’t count those dreams of my wild sexual escapades. LOL

So I was at Lady Gaga’s concert, Monster Ball. It was a standing concert and the entire place was so packed that it was impossible to even fall down; The fans were literally grinding against each other. Sweaty bodies were everywhere but thankfully the dream was smelless.

There I was, standing at the very front row, being squeezed so tightly towards the metal railing that separates us crazy fans and the stage. I wasn’t complaining, because Lady Gaga was just right in front of me. It was as if she was serenading me; As though we were the only ones at the concert.

I managed to catch her attention when she asked if anyone of us would like to join her on the stage. Next thing I knew, I was being pulled up onto the stage and started dancing with the dancers!

The dream happened in jump cuts, so I have no idea how my tshirt and jeans immediately became tattered tights and torn pieces of white cloth all over me. My hair was so messed up, ‘bad hair day’ would be an understatement – Although it seemed uniform with the dancers’ wild hair. And like them, I had eye liner on and my nails were painted pearly white.

But being a bad dancer in real life, I couldn’t pull off the dance moves in the dream too. I remembered feeling damn awkward, but after the song, Gaga came over and told me she like how I clawed the air vigorously and that I am truly a “little monster”. I was in cloud nine.

I didn’t have much interaction with Gaga, and instead, I talked a lot to the dancers when we were backstage and Gaga was singing alone in front. The dancers appeared to be very atas (high-class, snobbish, hoity-toity), and here comes the next awesome part of the dream.

Somehow the concert hall was adjacent to a Prada store. The exit of the backstage led us straight into the posh boutique. After the concert ended, I followed the dancers into the store.

“Okay people, pick up your outfit and go.” An authoritative female voice sounded into the dream like it was announcing over a PA system.

I was puzzled and one of the dancers, which by now he had already changed out of dance clothes into some high fashion label that made him look like a runway model, came over and told me that everybody gets to take home a set of outfit after EVERY concert.

“You can keep that torn shirt if you want, it’s Prada too anyway.” He shrugged his shoulders a little before continuing.

“But you can also exchange for an entirely new and different outfit to bring home.”

In my mind, I was going like, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” Immediately, I sped to the shelves in full speed and started taking out the clothes to try. I was so excited, I couldn’t wait in the queue to the changing rooms. Pulled out my torn shirt and tights in the middle of the store, and changed into the fresh new pieces.

The dream editor now makes a jump cut and I’m standing in a car park with my friends, and I’m recounting the awesome experience to them. Gaga appeared at a far end, with two other big-sized guys, presumably her bodyguards. She had that drink can thingy in her hair – The one in Telephone music video.

Surprisingly there wasn’t any crazy horde of fans dashing towards for photo or autograph. But all eyes were on the trio as they walked towards the car. The people stood still in the car park and watched earnestly. Just before reaching the car, Gaga looked up, let out a wide grin and waved at me! I waved back yelling – strangely, with an American accent – “Good bye Gaga! I love you!”

The car sped off and I suddenly realised that I should have ran over to take a photo with her! I feel really sad and unfortunately, that was also the point that I woke up.

I am totally overwhelmed by the details of the dream, it was in full colour and the sights and sounds were so real. It was indeed one of the best dreams, ever.

Let me end off this blog post with an awesome parody of Telephone that I’d came across recently!
