The lens that I wanted to rent wasn’t available, so I eventually rented one with the range that is too far for taking nice shots of the ships. This explains why the photos are mostly of people!

The photos are in chronicle order, this is one of the first few shots while testing the maximum range of the lens.

Say cheese!

Luckily I brought my kit lens along, so I managed to take a few shots of the ships!

Very convincing terrorist they’d got! LOL

o be real honest, I didn’t know who Ian Wright is, even until I was on my way to the event. I remember googling about him on the cab just to make sure that I had a gist of what was going on later.
I feel so undeserving of having this, possibly, once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet this awesome world traveller. Nevertheless, thanks to the kind invitation from Belinda of MS&L, I had the privilege of attending this dinner event!

This Discovery Travel & Living event was featuring Ian Wright’s latest show, Out of Bounds. …which, erm, explains why I didn’t know about Ian before – I don’t have cable tv at home!

Ian showing us his photos taken during his journeys. I forgot why he was pointing at his crotch. LOL
Here’s the very unique dinner spread!

Photos with the awesome guy!

Walter (aka coolinsights), Belinda, Ian and myself!

Love this photo taken by Catherline!

Eevon got her “kiss” from Ian!
It was quite an interesting experience and I like little gift for us from the event!

1. The need to defecate. Don’t know about you, but I’m quite a shitty person. I need to do the number twos everyday! In fact, thanks to my insane metabolism, the kick to shit comes in an hour after every meal! Not to mention that it can be triggered by tea, coffee or milk.
2. The need to sleep. We spend a third of our lives sleeping and with the need to repay sleep debts, there’s no way to cheat it!
3. Doing stupid things when horny. Maybe this is only applicable to men, but they are definitely not wrong when they say men think with their dicks. Myself included.
4. Being different. This is actually not so bad, but it is definitely a double-edged sword. Sometimes we look at other people and we whine why can’t we be like them? Or why can’t we be born like that? Although I know we must learn to be contented with who we are or what we have, but a lot of times we can’t help but to complain how unfair the world is. This is a little bias for an argument but wouldn’t it be easier if everyone is the same?
5. People only care for themselves. I think it is human nature to only fight for your own self in desperate times. How many people can you name that will protect you if there is a war or natural disaster that break out right in front of you? No matter how nice somebody might seem to be, there is always that selfish side in them.
