adies and gentlemen, say hello to my blog’s spanking new design! I finally got down to do the dirty work! Well, I never thought that I would come up with a new design during this period of time, and with all my school work piling up, I most definitely didn’t plan ahead to finish this!
I merely went with the flow and inspiration; Opened up Photoshop, did a little typography, added a photo of myself. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, it was already half done and it just doesn’t justify if I don’t take the next few steps to complete it!
Although this new design is rather classic and nothing too fancy, may I be so proud of myself and go ahead and brag that I coded this WordPress blog design ALL BY MYSELF FROM SCRATCH!
The entire design process took me about two and a half days! Half a day to come up with the design, and I spent the next two days coding it. I was such a WordPress noob before this, so the time spent coding was like a crash course alongside the design process!
Oh ya, I approached a few people to ask for quotations for coding, but I was already half way through the coding when I got the first reply! So it doesn’t make sense if I were to pay for a new set of codes, right? But of course, I can’t compare my noobish WordPress coding with the professional ones lah!
The old “tagline” of my blog wouldn’t fit this new design, so I had to come up with a new one! And I got my inspiration from Lady Gaga’s Telephone music video:
Lady Gaga: Sure you wanna do this, honey B?
Beyonce: What do you mean am I sure?
Lady Gaga: You know what they say, once you kill a cow you gotta make a burger. *stares at camera*
A brief definition of “kill a cow, make a burger” is that, once you gonna do something, you’ve got to do it all the way – What a perfect description of the process of this new design!
I think there are still some small little bugs to fix (like how ugly it looks on iPhones, and I’m presuming iPads too), so if you have a keen eye and happen to spot any goof, do let me know!

Oh, haha. There is this wordpress plugin for your visitors to switch your visitors over to a iPhone version. However, the theme is quite iPhone-ish. =)
