…LIKE, LITERALLY!

It all started out with this link that I followed from Twitter, and got to see this French artist Alexandre Oudin creatively used the new Facebook profile design to create a mega profile photo!

It was so awesome that I has to recreate what he did and with a few measurements and cropping done in Photoshop, I managed to achieve this!!:

But it wasn’t perfect due to my privacy settings! So I tweaked a few things here and there and managed to get a universal setting. Now everybody (even those who are not my friends) can see this!!!:

Then I was wondering if it can be pushed even further, and VOILA~!!

Even that profile thumbnail shows fits the picture! This is so cool that I’d wished I was the one who thought about it first! So anyway, you can visit this link to look at other cool “mega profile photos” that other people has created!

    Unfortunately I’d already deleted the PSD file! IIRC, the measurements should be 120px by 120px with 12px spacing in between.

    so there is a need for an upgrade then?

    but the lower part of the face can be changed since it is only an update, right?

    I wrote you this comment, first to congratulate your work on your Facebook’s page, but also to ask you a question. I wanted to know if you could help me about the avatar picture (the miniature image) of Facebook. Indeed, I need to have an avatar picture which is different from my photo of profile and, I may look, but I do not find any solution… I saw that for your work (which is really successful, it is incredible !), you used this method, then if you can give me indications, it would be very kind from your part.
