had gotten a new MacBook Pro recently and this one that I’m typing on now will probably be chucked into a corner and be long forgotten by me. While transferring the files to new one, I checked out my Photo Booth and had a good time looking through the photos taken from the very first day I bought it till recent days!
Decided to compile them and post them here! So here you go, a photo-intensive (you have been warned!) blog entry comprised of 5 years worth of photos!
Cast the plasma bolt on the correct arrow within the given “reaction time” and complete the levels. I only managed till the fifth level, acquiring a “Junior Apprentice” rank. Do let me know if you do better than me!
This is one of the techiest and interesting flash games I’m ever played.
I was a little dreading to take the trouble to print out the graphic just to play a game, but I was quickly proven how awesome it is to witness augmented reality technology happening right in front of me, on my old crappy laptop.
YouTube branching story
Play the game on YouTube to understand the movie better.
Release Date Reminder
They even have presets for different calendar accounts to update you when the movie’s out.
Activity Pack
Have fun with the interesting activity pack!
And here’s a little synopsis of the film!
Balthazar Blake (NICOLAS CAGE) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (ALFRED MOLINA). Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (JAY BARUCHEL), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE.
Not too long ago, I wrote an advertorial on PSB Academy and one of the course it is offering. Well, today I’m going to introduce to you guys an adrenaline-filled course – the Sport Science course, that is!
Having the opportunity to experience a few preview sessions of the classes at PSB Academy, I personally feel that it has a very conducive environment for its students.
The interactive teaching, lab-oriented learning and well-designed curriculum cater to the students’ preparation for the real world situations. Over 40% of the total curriculum is focused on practical training!
Okay, back to the topic – Sport Science. It is definitely tailored made for all the sporty people out there that are looking to improve in terms of knowledge and application while doing your favourite sports!
And who says sports is just fun and games? There are many exciting careers you can pursue by completing a Bachelor of Science (Sport Science)! This course provides individuals with vocational skills, communication skills, research skills and organizational skills.
This type of training leads to a wide array of employment opportunities such as: Fitness centre manager, recreation officer, health promotion officer, sports marketing consultant, and etc.!
I’m pretty sure it will be like a dream come true for all the sporty and fit people out there.
Once again, Nadia and I donned our lab coats and geeky specs, to bring you guys another installation of our videos for PSB Academy!
This time, we made our own version of a YouTube interactive gameshow, Truth of Fail! In conjunction with the theme of this advertorial, we’ll be giving you two supposed factoids about Sport Science in each round, and all you’ve got to do is to pick those that you think is the correct one!
Just bought my first ever copy of Rolling Stone magazine!
Yes, yes, yes. I bought it only because Lady Gaga’s on it!
I don’t read Rolling Stone, so I didn’t know if it was selling here in Singapore. But when I saw photos of the latest issue featuring Lady Gaga in her machine gun bra (as seen in her Alejandro music video) online, I knew I had to find my ways to grab a copy of it!
So while on my way home from work yesterday, I randomly walked into a news stand in my area to checked if they have the magazine. AND THEY DO! …but it was the June issue feating Jay-Z!
Went back today and the new issue was selling already!
That indian guy who dug out the magazine from the new arrived stack for me was damn funny. He kept swooning over the magazine cover and mumbled something like “her arse is vaari naise”. Then he went on to read, “Lady Gaga” and made the sound of guns firing off “BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM!”, complete with hand gestures over his manboobs.
Anyway, if I had known RS is selling here, I would have gotten the previous Lady Gaga issue too! Damn!
And I did my usual thing when I buy cool magazines like this; I bought two copies – One for reading, one for keeping.
1. Back from the 9-day trip in Thailand. Totally enjoyed the trip, and can’t wait to post the photos and videos up. Most probably will be blogging about the trip in separate posts. Cannot possibly squeeze nine days worth of activities into one blog entry!
2. Started “internship” right after I flew back in Singapore. Yes, it is quoted with inverted commas because I find it a tad embarrassing to say I’m still interning when I have already graduated with a diploma. The term is stated by the company, and since it is good money, I don’t really care how it is being called. I’ll be there only for a month before my degree year starts.
3. Not quite ready for work though. I’m still rather drained from the walking and scorching weather in Thailand.
4. No more scheduled blog entries for the time being.
5. I will probably update in a few days’ time.
6. Imported the archives from jayleif.blogspot.com over here. Lost the hundreds and thousands of archived comments and alot of links will be broken, but nonetheless, I’m a step closer to shifting my entire blog here!
