Hi, saw ur tweet about your thoughts for instagram able to fulfills a lot of non artsy people’s desire to be artsy for once. Photo of a tree, solitude. Photo of a man, loneliness.
Just want to share my thoughts of being an instagram fan. We may not have any DSLR, Leica, Lx3, G12 or even a decent point and shoot (thou many in instagram are using pros). But as a photography fan and a fan of you.
I just want to bring across that photography may be an art that requires a lot of skills, shutter speed, aperture, depth of field etc.. Photography is also a form of memory something that we keep track to. Something that we can capture the moment that we want. No matter it is nice or not nice.
Reason for liking instagram is that i can travel to other country from that little screen in iphone. Interacting with other at the end of the world. See whats being our little red dot. Its a very lovely community so far. No wars, no flames. Just like or no like.
Some people may be trying too hard to showcase there photography skill. (we all can see that) But what’s ur definition of being artsy?
Alright I got too long winded.
Anyway I am a loyal fan of your design and style. Keep up with the good work, and all the best in nafa.
