When I first received an email about some new local boy band, I thought it was yet another “media release” email, so I didn’t really read it through. This morning I received yet another email from them, asking me if I had watched their video or not. So I was thinking, “WAH THEY DAMN BUAY PAI SEH HOR? Keep asking me to watch their video? This better be good.”

And I opened the link to this:

I had a really good laugh. But IMHO, it’s also a bit insulting; Why the manly guys seem to behave like gu niangs whenever they have their blonde wig on? I bleach my hair ergo I am gu niang?

But oh well, let’s not be too sensitive and it doesn’t hurt look on the brighter side, right?

After all, they did say my hair rocks, and their girlfriends prefers me…

…even though the girlfriend looks like crap.

But seriously, your wigs are damn ugly.

You guys look better like this:

Anyway, the blog entry that they are referring to is this one which I wrote about bleaching my hair.

Not really sure this whole “boy band” thing is legit or not, but I’m quite sure it’s a creative marketing campaign by Paypal. Pretty innovative I must say, a very smart way to get people blogging about it when you don’t even need to ask them to.

There’s a whole bunch of other videos dedicated to other people and, if I’m not wrong, it’ll be out on wepromiseyou.com later at 4pm! Can’t wait to see the other videos!

This week’s Sunday Inspirations is a quick one!

Check out these neat personal stationery of Mr. Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, designed by Ben Barry! It’s one thing to receive letters from THE Mark Zuckerberg, and it’s another to have such awesome hand embossed seal! I swear if ever I get my hands on these, I’ll frame it up in my room!

Look closer and you’ll read, “FROM THE DESK OF FOUNDER & CEO OF FACEBOOK”!

The group finally met them up after so long! Blog worthy!

It’s funny how I have all the photos edited and ready to blog and I am still able to completely forget about them! Got so busy meh?! (…Erm, actually yah, twas freakin’ busy!) I was gonna blog about my birthday “celebrations” after this entry, but god knows what happened! There isn’t even like a draft post!

So anyway, here’s the recap of my 23rd birthday! I HAD A TOTAL OF FIVE SURPRISES!

#1. The first surprise came from my classmates, it was one week early and I wasn’t even suspecting anything!

#2. The second one was half a surprise! I thought I was gonna have dinner with Fab when Gabriel, Si Hui and Sarah turned up! They got me this super awesome cup that is in the shape of a Canon zoom lens!

#3. The third one was planned by Nolly! I was invited to join his friends’ CNY party and the cake came in out of nowhere! Made some new friends at the party too. :)

#4. Fourth one was at Zouk with my classmates!

And I digress:

Please don’t ever do this when you go the best club in Singapore, can? It was not even midnight when I took this photo!

#5. The fifth one was mega epic. Blindfolded to the location!

MORAL OF THE STORY: MY FRIENDS ARE SNEAKIER THAN YOURS!

Haha! But I truly wasn’t expecting so much as I’m kinda getting sick of birthday celebrations, and I’m gradually not seeing the point of celebrating. IMHO, birthday celebrations should happen only on the “milestones” of your life, like 18th, 21st, 25th (quarter life?), 30th, 40th, 50th, etc.!

This is what happens after months and months of stress built up in school:
