ZoukOut is at its 10th anniversary this year but it was my first time ever attending this annual music dance festival since its first one in the year 2000!
Thanks to Citibank, we were able to use our Citi Clear Platinum Card to beat the queue! Although I’d wished there had been better management between the organizers at Citibank VIP Marquee so as to avoid confusions as to who are allowed to enter the area. You don’t want to spoil the partygoers’ mood when you have such a nice tent, right?
Anyway, while at the Citibank promoters shared with us that the Citi Clear Platinum Card offer a great deal of rewards at most of the clubbing venues like Zouk, Butter Factory, Timbre, St James Power Station and etc!
Oh did I mention it was free flow between 8pm to 10pm? And yes, according to Nadia, it was “such a nasty thing”! Haha! Free flow alcohol means you’ll get stuff like these:
That’s me being raped by Nadia’s kisses! LOL!
See how red I was when I photobombed their cawhore pic?
with Fabian, beauty blogger Sara & her boyfriend Chester!
Bumped into Pat on the way out! Check out those abs!
This is a random photo of a girl in bikini top, LOL!
Oh and I like this photo that Mus’ friend took of me!:

So anyway, here’s a short video that I made of the clips (the awesome fireworks!!) I took when I was there – overlayed with Guetta’s track just to make up for what I’d missed! LOLOL!

It all started out with this link that I followed from Twitter, and got to see this French artist Alexandre Oudin creatively used the new Facebook profile design to create a mega profile photo!
It was so awesome that I has to recreate what he did and with a few measurements and cropping done in Photoshop, I managed to achieve this!!:
.
.
.
But it wasn’t perfect due to my privacy settings! So I tweaked a few things here and there and managed to get a universal setting. Now everybody (even those who are not my friends) can see this!!!:

Then I was wondering if it can be pushed even further, and VOILA~!!
Even that profile thumbnail shows fits the picture! This is so cool that I’d wished I was the one who thought about it first! So anyway, you can visit this link to look at other cool “mega profile photos” that other people has created!
Disclaimer: This entry might sound a tad like me going on cloud nine over my bragging rights, so if you can’t stand my big-headed moments, then, DO NOT READ ON.
Eight months after I moved to the new URL, my old blog is still the #1 result on Google.com.sg (#2 on the international Google site) when you search for “jayden”. …and that’s not even including the need to type in my last name!
But this blog has only been able to make it to the 4th…
Having a rather “generic” name (pfffffftttt at all you new Jaydens out there!) and to be able to come up high in the searches is actually quite a humbling feat. How many of you can say “google my name and you’ll find me”??? NAME OKAY! Not nickname or any other unique pseudonym!!!
Anyhoo, check out what definition Urban Dictionary has got about my name! LOL!
ust yesterday, eight Madame Tussauds from all over the world unveiled their new wax figures! And to warrant the amount of attention for me to write a blog post about it, the wax figures have got to be none other than the awesomest Lady Gaga!
So anyhow, I’ve painstakingly collected photos from all over the web to put them together over here!
Here are the comparisons of the wax figures and the real Lady Gaga!
1. “Telephone” What? Phillip Tracey telephone hat, black Armani coat. Where, when? UK talk show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, March 2010. Which Madame Tussauds? London
Is it just me or the face is a tad off? And I’m not sure if it’s the wax figure’s photo colours or they’d simply gotten the wrong hair extension colour! It’s supposed to be lavender not pink!
2. “Big Hair” What? Towering purple hair piece atop waist-length platinum hair, nude Maison Martin Margiela bodysuit, white blazer. Where, when? Outside the Phoenix Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, July 2009. Which Madame Tussauds? Amsterdam
This one’s pretty much spot on!
3. “Kinky Boots” What? Bruno Pieters leather bodysuit, a black lace bra, thigh-high black boots. Where, when? Hakkasan restaurant in London, April 2009. Which Madame Tussauds? Berlin
Not 100% accurate! Lady Gaga didn’t had a hair bow in this outfit!
4. “Harlequin” What? Black Marjan Pejoski bodysuit, ruffled clown collar. Where, when? Press conference, Grand Intercontinental Hotel, South Korea, June 2009. Which Madame Tussauds? Hong Kong
Quite surprised with this choice out of so many Lady Gaga’s outfits. By the way, if I’m not wrong, that black clown collar is designed by a Singaporean and Lady Gaga bought it when she wore it in a photoshoot here in Singapore!
5. “Hair Hat” What? Sunhat made out of her blonde hair along with a black, see-through net dress Where, when? Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, January 2010. Which Madame Tussauds? New York
This one’s my favourite! Everything’s pretty much spot on! It’s the outfit she was wearing when they announced that she’s the newly appointed creative director of Polaroid!
6. “Hairbow” What? One-shoulder black latex bodysuit, hairbow Where, when? BBC Radio 1 studios, London. Which Madame Tussauds? Las Vegas
Again, the outfit choice is a little meh. I know the hairbow is a classic but of all the outrageous fashion pieces, they chose this simple latex outfit? BOO!
UPDATE: 8. “Lady in Lace” What? Alex Noble lace body stocking, Philip Tracey face mask, Marie Antoinette hair. Where, when? 2010 Brit Awards, February 2010. Which Madame Tussauds? Hollywood
This is my second favourite of all eight! The wax figure look almost identical to the real Lady Gaga! Okay, maybe because 3/4 of the face is covered in lace…

So anyway, I can’t wait to visit all these Madame Tussauds!! But although I’m quite disappointed at the choices of outfits. Where are all those more iconic ones like the one with tons of Kermit the frog? Or the red latex one when she performed for the queen? Or even bubble dress? AND WHERE IS THE MEAT DRESS?!?!?!
